Welcome to Rhodyquilt.com
We are a group of quilters who love the art of quilting and getting to know other quilters in our community who share our enthusiasm.
We welcome anyone who would like to join our guild and learn a new quilting skill and/or share some of your knowledge with us. We are looking forward to meeting new quilting friends.
About our Guild:
Since its inception in 1992, the Rhododendron Quilt Guild has increased in membership and it is still growing.
Yearly we make a raffle quilt with the proceeds benefitting a local charity in our community. Baby quilts for the Pregnancy Center, clothing protectors for Assisted Living facilities and quilts for the Veterans Association are among the many projects that we apply our love of quilting toward.
Regular meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month excluding November and December due to the holidays. They start at 10:00 a.m. and normally run 2 hours. The Elks Lodge located at 1686 12th Street is our meeting site.
There are Satellite groups that also meet once or twice a month; new groups are formed as the need arises.
